Jesus’ Government of Peace

Isaiah 9:6,7, says He will be called the “Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace….” (NASU)

There is no dread or anxiety in Jesus’ Kingdom! He is the Prince of Peace. Peace is the hallmark of His government. Fear is an indicator that I am not under – submitted to – His government in some area of my heart.

Wherever He rules, overwhelming peace flows. The more of our heart we surrender to this Prince, the more our lives are marked by Peace.

If we serve other masters, like riches (Matt.6:24, 25, 33), we open ourselves to fear and anxiety. For this reason, Jesus commanded us not to be anxious for ANYTHING: not for what we’ll eat, drink, or wear. INSTEAD, we seek the Kingdom; His Kingdom of Peace! There in that state of Peace, “all these things will be added to you.”

Let’s pray: “Jesus, we see our fear as a denial of Your government of Peace. You are the Prince of Peace. Your peace rules and reigns in our hearts. We will not bow to anxiety and serve it! We cannot serve two masters. We will not serve anxiety and Jesus!”

Right now, why don’t we surrender to Jesus’ authority afresh? Why don’t we bow before Him and reaffirm He is our God; in HIM alone we place our trust for everything we need? Let us surrender our anxiety-saturated pursuit of earthly security. Let us wrap ourselves in the protection of a heart fully surrendered to Him.
Colossians 3:15 “Let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body….”

Declarations to make:

• I am not limited by Fear!

• I am a mighty women (or man) of God.

• His strength is in me. His call is on my life; I cannot fail!

• I will not fall; He will keep me.

• I am a purveyor of the Holy Spirit.

It will be no problem for Him to keep me in peace as I allow His Kingdom to rule over me… & my soul…

NO PROBLEM!
