The Mysteries of the Cross

The Mysteries of the Cross
By Hannah Lee

For I have yet to understand the mysteries of the Cross:

•An instrument of death violently changed to an instrument of life.

•A symbol of despair and pain now a symbol of hope and love.

•A tree of death now a tree of life.

For I have yet to understand the mysteries of the Cross: …and more!

•A way of life that calls you to give up everything and then gives you everything

•A Savior Who is a Lamb slain; and a Lion on the hunt, reigning victorious.

•A people called to live in peace and fight on the field of spirit wars.

For I have yet to understand the mysteries of the Cross, …have you?

To stand in dark mysteries;
To dance in joyful light;
To sing unknown languages;
To laugh in adversaries faces;
To raise others to new heights.
