As mentioned in the previous post, Jennifer Sprague attended the Prophetic & Arts Conference at Bethel Church, and here’s her take on what happened:
I received a prophetic word at the motel desk while I was checking in, however, the lady speaking it had no clue, and I’m sure my excitement seemed a little over the top. These are the first words I heard when I arrived in Redding: “you’ve been upgraded.” I guess the motel ran out of regular rooms, so they had to upgrade me. I took it as prophetic though, and set my sights high.
I was not disappointed…I’ve been implanted with treasures from heaven, some are clearly seen, others are buried within, for a later time!
I’ve become so aware of the creative power of our words, when a word from the Lord is spoken it in turn creates a world, so to speak. The example given was of the unknown prophet and the prophecy regarding Josiah (1 Kings 13 — read it, enjoy it, see the creative power of the prophetic word). The prophet spoke that a child by the name of Josiah would come and do away with idols, and high places…these words were a creative force and several hundreds of years later, along comes Josiah, the result of a prophetic word. So we must prophesy and create worlds, after all we are created in His image…speaking forth life should be a way of life! So I encourage you, prophesy, come on, speak life.
There is much to be said about all of the personal ministry that was received from unknown prophets, as they would walk by and deliver a word that would totally rock my world in a creative way…oh that I could do that too Lord, what if someone could grow bigger….what a blessing that is!
Somewhere in the course of the meetings, there was a love for Santa Rosa placed within me. I’ve fallen in love with this city, wanting to see God’s desire for us become reality, wanting His love to be poured out all over, touching lives everywhere, giving hope to the hopeless, and love to the unloved…wanting to see Jesus, all over our city, why not here? Why can’t Jesus be Lord here to the glory of the Father? Inch by inch may this city be filled with the government of the Lord…His government has never for one second lost ground, it is always continually taking ground…growing stronger and stronger while darkness grows weaker and weaker.
I could go on and on, as it seems endless what the Lord has imparted, but that, my friends, is the tip of it all. This I know: I surely have been upgraded.
